I designed a minimalist kitchen for a young couple in their waterfront home, ideal for family gatherings, pool parties, and boating. We opened up the space by removing a wall and adding an island, and placed the ice machine near the back porch for easy access to coolers.
The goal was to make the small home feel larger and use low-maintenance, allergy-friendly materials. Matte black quartz countertops reduce glare and add a modern touch, while a timeless herringbone marble backsplash completes the look.
